JOSEPH STALIN
Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union from 1924 to 1953. After World War II began, Stalin agreed to a non-aggression pact with Germany. However, this pact was soon broken when Germany invaded Leningrad, the capital city of Russia. At this point, Stalin joined the Allied Forces, and claimed a Soviet victory against Germany in Moscow. As Germany fell apart, the Soviet Union stood victorious, ready to claim the territories that Germany had invaded.
