Dwight D. EISENHOWER
Dwight David Eisenhower was a general of the United States army during World War II. He rose to the top Allied military commander throughout the war, commanding the U.S. forces in North Africa. He became the Supreme commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force after the managing the invasions of Sicily and Italy. Eisenhower was responsible for the cooperation between Britain, America, and other forces in the Allied Forces, and successfully combined their land, sea, and air forces for war in Europe.
